Celebrating 16 Years in Business!
Stevenson & White is celebrating 16 years in business! Our doors first opened on June 1st, 2000 and let’s just say A LOT has changed in the recruitment world since then! Gone are the days when resumes were submitted by fax and the most successful job ads were those we advertised in Saturday’s paper. We still spend a lot of our time on the phone connecting with people live, but we also spend a lot more time using technology to find people, to reach out and to stay in touch.
One thing that hasn’t changed for us over the years is our belief in how important it is to provide personal service to all our candidates and clients. Sixteen years ago our two founders, Anne Stevenson & Trevor White, started Stevenson & White as an alternative to the large, multinational recruitment firms. They wanted to run a business where candidates aren’t treated like a number and clients’ needs are listened to and addressed. These continue to be guiding principles for our team today and we believe it has helped us to succeed as a locally-owned family business in an increasingly competitive market.
