Stevenson & White Looks Forward to Continued Partnership with OBJ on the InsideTrack Show
The beginning of the new year inevitably starts us all thinking about what lies ahead. What new opportunities and challenges will arise? What new adventures are on the horizon?
At Stevenson & White, 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting one for us. At the tail-end of last year, we embarked on an adventure with the Ottawa Business Journal as sponsors of their InsideTrack online show. When OBJ approached us with their proposal, we were intrigued! It is something new, something that has never been done before in Ottawa! The InsideTrack show features key influencers from the Ottawa business community sharing their knowledge and expertise (plus a limo ride and a tasty lunch at the Brookstreet Hotel!) with a group of guests from various industries. Bringing people together is what we do, so the idea was a great fit for us and our sense of fun!
We love creating an opportunity for people to network with some of Ottawa’s success stories and are pleased to have taken part in 3 shows in 2016:
Jeff Hunt, owner of the Ottawa Redblacks, Ottawa Fury FC, and the Ottawa 67s was featured in the first episode of The InsideTrack and shared his experience in sports, business and the redevelopment of Ottawa’s Lansdowne Park.
Shirley Westeinde, co-founder of the Westeinde Group, discussed her achievements with the company she started with her husband, her work with BOMA (the Building Owners’ and Managers’ Association) and she also offered some sound advice to women in business.
Guy Laflamme, Executive Director of the Ottawa 2017 Bureau, participated in both a live panel discussion and subsequent recorded interview, offering a preview of what to expect over the next year, a behind-the-scenes look at how it all came to be, and a discussion of the expected legacy of Ottawa’s big year.
Our partnership with the OBJ will continue into 2017 and is sure to be one of the highlights of our year. Last week, we filmed the first episode of 2017 with David Ross, Chief Executive Officer at Ross Video. You can already view the Facebook Live video here and the episode itself will be available on the InsideTrack website soon.
We have several more shows scheduled for 2017, including lots of interesting people such as Bruce Linton, CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation (formerly Tweed Marijuana) and Kevin Ford, President and CEO of Calian Group.
