Bookkeeper
Job #4461 – Our client is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Bookkeeper to join their team as they continue to experience impressive growth! Reporting directly to the Controller, the selected incumbent will be expected to provide full-cycle accounting support including accounts payable, invoicing, financial statement preparation and payroll. The ideal candidate has good initiative and must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Main responsibilities include:
- Manage the full-cycle accounting function for various clinics
- Record invoices and expenses and process supplier payments
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and provide balance sheet analysis
- Prepare monthly and year-end reports and prepare government remittances
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and assist with annual audit preparation

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance
- Minimum 2-3 years of related accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingualism considered an asset (French & English)
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
- $55,000 – $60,000 annual salary
