The chosen candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing the long-term financial strategies while also being accountable for the day-to-day operations of the finance team. The ideal person is a hands-on leader who has experience and confidence to work at an executive level. Main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the finance growth strategy and establishing profitability standards for investments activities and mergers and acquisitions and identifying any potential risks
- Responsible for departmental controls, forecasting, budgeting and cost centers
- Lead the annual financial planning and quarterly review process
- Manage capital asset acquisitions
- Plan, organize and direct accounting audits
- Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with related policies and regulations
- Provide supervision of financial management staff

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation is mandatory
- 10+ years progressive finance experience, including at a senior level
- Demonstrated ASPE/US GAAP knowledge
- Effective presentation skills
Definite Assets:
- Previous experience in a start-up or SaaS environment
- NetSuite or ERP experience
What’s the Bottom Line:
- $135,000-$175,000 annual salary
