Job #4848 – Our client, a well-respected and impactful non-profit organization, is seeking a polished, communicative, and results-driven Director of Finance & Corporate Services to join their management team. This key leadership role is responsible for the strategic planning, oversight, and operational performance of all corporate services, including finance, facilities, human resources, administration, and outsourced IT services. Reporting to the Executive Director, the ideal candidate brings broad management experience, exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead in a complex, dynamic environment. The main responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all financial matters and budgets within the Corporate Services portfolio
  • Ensure financial budgeting and reporting, including payroll and benefits, are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support and monitor grant and funding proposals as needed
  • Oversee audits and provide financial expertise to the finance committee and the Board of Directors
  • Ensure compliance with systems, employment legislation, support a healthy and safe workplace, and advise on HR matters alongside the Executive Director
  • Manage building operations, safety protocols, maintenance, and capital assets
  • Serve as primary contact for infrastructure and security issues
  • Oversee outsourced IT systems, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and system reliability
  • Maintain clear policies, support daily operations, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization and with external partners
  • Directly manage staff within the portfolio, overseeing recruitment, performance, and team planning.

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

  • CPA designation required
  • Master’s or graduate degree in business, public or health administration preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive senior financial and human resource management experience in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent understanding of ASNPO
  • Strong people leadership abilities
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good business acumen with the ability to drive change
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector is considered a strong asset

How You Will Be Rewarded:

  • $110,000 – $120,000 annual salary range
