In this role, you will oversee daily and month-end accounting operations, collaborating closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance, and implement efficient processes that support the organization’s growth. - Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, employee expenses, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, loans, and leases
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide timely reporting to senior leadership
- Track assets, apply depreciation, and oversee vendor contracts and pricing
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze account balances, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable and ensure accurate project billing
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and team workflows
- Collaborate with project managers to support project-specific accounting needs

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in full cycle accounting role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Assets:
- CPA designation or progress towards CPA
- Experience with Intercompany transactions
- Deltek Vantage Point software knowledge
- Project accounting/management experience
- WIPS or Percentage of Completion experience
Compensation:
- $65,000 – $70,000 salary range
- 2% yearly salary increase
- Good benefits after 3 months’ probation
- RRSP matching up to 3%
