Job #4667 – Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to join their collaborative and busy team on a one-year maternity leave! They require someone who has a solid accounting foundation in accounts payable and working around the general ledger. Reporting to the Controller, the main responsibilities include:

  • Process accounts payable and set up payments
  • Vendor accounts, general ledger, and credit card reconciliations
  • Act as the point of contact for accounts payable inquiries and manage cash requirements for vendor payments
  • HST/WSIB remittance and reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit payroll and calculate and process pension payments
  • Year-end payroll and government reconciliations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

  • Post-secondary education in business or accounting
  • 2+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with ADP considered an asset!

How You Will be Rewarded:

  • $54,000 – $57,000 annual salary
  • 2 weeks’ vacation
