We are recruiting a Director of Finance to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will provide strategic financial leadership while overseeing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and financial analysis. The Director of Finance will serve as a key partner to leadership by providing insights, strengthening processes, and supporting organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic leader with a people-first approach. They are adaptable, accountable, and forward-thinking, with the ability to drive improvements, embrace technology, and build strong relationships across the organization. Key responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with funding agreements, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and organizational policies
- Lead financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, and governance processes
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support planning and organizational objectives
- Strengthen financial systems, processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
- Support risk management, vendor oversight, and operational controls
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and related compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiencies
- Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering collaboration and accountability
- Partner with leadership and department teams to promote strong financial stewardship

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Completed CPA designation
- 6-9 years of progressive financial experience, including demonstrated experience in NFP financial management
- Tech-savvy with a forward-thinking mindset; ERP implementation experience is an asset
