Job #4778 –Exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing organization as their full time Controller! The selected incumbent will play a key role in managing the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability. This role is best suited for an experienced, hands-on Controller who enjoys working in a small to mid-size business and who values having a voice at the round table discussions. Reporting to the CFO, the main responsibilities include:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and the general ledger
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations, and maintain internal controls
- Monitor cash flow and credit and collections processes to optimize working capital
- Work with the leadership team to identify cost-savings opportunities and align financial strategies with business objectives
- Collaborate with project managers to track project budgets, manage job costing, and control costs
- Provide leadership to the team
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel
