Our client is looking for a Controller with solid accounting experience who enjoys everything from daily hands-on transactional work to month-end budgets and strategic planning. - Oversee financial operations and develop financial strategies and metrics to meet long-term growth objectives
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, bank deposits, e-transfers and cash flow
- Ensure internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Responsible for monthly financial reporting including financial statements, government remittances and employee compensation
- Assist with the annual budget and review financial plans to identify and correct any variances
- Act as key representative with external parties on financial matters
- Other duties as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in commerce, business administration or accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end and year-end
- Excellent English communication skills, oral and written
- CPA designation is an asset
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
- $80,000 – $100,000 annual salary range
