Our client, a longstanding company and a leader in their industry, is looking for a Controller to join their dynamic team. As the Controller, you will use your existing industry knowledge and can-do attitude to lead and oversee the financial operations of the company’s property management division. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:
- Compile, analyze, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial results
- Prepare and present financial and management reports, and provide detailed analysis to support decision making
- Identify and manage opportunities to improve and strengthen processes
- Lead the annual budgeting process, and work closely with relevant stakeholders
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to a team of direct reports
- Oversee the lease administration process and liaise with the legal and compliance teams

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Professional CPA accounting designation
- Formal accounting education
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Prior experience in the property management or real estate industry
- Professional and polished communication skills
Compensation:
- $100,000 – $120,000 salary range
- Generous bonus potential
- 3 weeks’ vacation
