Job #4847 – Our established client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who is skilled in synthesizing complex data into clear reports and presentations to join their collaborative and supportive team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will lead the fiscal management of the organization. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, and future expansion projects while also developing and maintaining complex financial models to guide long-term planning and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has impeccable organizational ability and can approach complex challenges with logical solutions while managing sensitive matters with tact and professionalism. Main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Prepare reports, cash flow analyses, and audit documentation
  • Ensure IFRS compliance with expenditures and asset classification
  • Manage work in progress, asset transfers, depreciation, and disposals
  • Maintain and ensure adherence to fixed asset accounting policies
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models and long-term financial models to support budgeting and strategic planning

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

  • Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field
  • CPA or MBA (completed or in progress)
  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive role
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and financial systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Definite Assets (nice to have):

  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Skilled in KPI analysis and corporate performance reporting
  • Experienced in business case development and project financial assessment
  • Knowledgeable in project management methodologies
  • Proficient with ERP systems

What’s the Bottom Line:

  • $72,000 – $100,000 salary range
