Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial reporting activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. Main responsibilities include:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and working papers to support corporate and statutory reporting requirements
- Coordinate the period-end close process and contribute to annual report submissions
- Support corporate performance measurement and provide financial insights to senior management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP) and advise on relevant changes
- Assist in designing efficient financial processes and ensuring appropriate internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support to Finance leadership as needed
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business or Finance
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA) required
- 4+ years of progressive financial reporting experience
- Exceptional communication skills
Assets:
- Experience in public accounting
- Knowledge of JD Edwards, Insight or Workovia
