Job #4942 – A great opportunity to join a flourishing software company as a remote Accountant while playing a key role in managing bank and credit card reconciliations, intercompany transactions, commission calculations and A/P. Reporting to the Controller, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. - Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including bank and credit card reconciliations as well as intercompany transactions
- Review and process vendor invoices, payments and accounts receivable/payable transactions accurately
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries each month
- Process and calculate commission
- Manage fixed assets, purchase orders, and expense approvals

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Degree in Accounting (or related field)
- 2+ years progressive experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable to new technology
- Advanced Excel and solid Microsoft Office skills
Assets:
- Experience with NetSuite, ADP, Salesforce, Spiff or Concur
- Software or Telecommunications industry experience is a plus
Compensation:
- $60,000 – $75,000 salary range
- Substantial bonus potential
