Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in driving strategic decisions through insightful analysis, clear financial reporting, and actionable recommendations. Acting as a trusted finance business partner to operations, you will help optimize processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance function. - Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for a portfolio of properties
- Turn financial data into actionable strategies that boost efficiency, occupancy, and growth
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management and property owners
- Collaborate with external accountants on year-end financial statement preparation
- Partner with property management teams to track performance, highlight trends, and guide operational decisions
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to streamline processes, manage cash flow, and ensure financial governance
- Work with maintenance teams to monitor weekly work orders and renovations, identifying trends and key focus areas
- Mentor junior analysts, strengthening team financial knowledge and professional growth
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation complete or in progress is preferred
- Post-secondary education in finance and/or accounting required
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel
