Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees is processed accurately and on schedule. Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion is essential. Main responsibilities include:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Maintain payroll systems and ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Manage statutory filings and year-end reporting requirements
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Support employee benefits administration
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits and financial reporting
- Collaborate with finance teams on reconciliations and month-end activities

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Completed PCP designation is considered an asset but not required
- Background in accounting, business or finance
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in processing end-to-end payroll
- Good understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ADP is considered an asset
