Job #4843 – A great opportunity to join a global industry leader on a full-time basis! Our client is seeking a dependable and driven Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Officer will manage the full accounts payable cycle, including processing supplier invoices, expense reports, and payments. You will be a key member of a supportive team that thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment! Main responsibilities include:
- Process all suppliers’ invoices in a timely manner
- Obtain proper management approval and coding for each supplier invoice
- Process due invoices for payment, observing discounts available
- Preparation of payment to suppliers
- Balance A/P sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Clear cashed cheques daily
- Calculate and record monthly accruals and monitor and reduce prepaids
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Formal Accounting education or relevant experience
- 2-5 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Ability to process a high volume of invoices
- Strong communication skills
- Good Excel skills
Assets (nice to have):
- SAP or Concur experience
- Manufacturing experience
How You Will Be Rewarded:
- $65,000 per year
