Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Officer will manage the full accounts payable cycle, including processing supplier invoices, expense reports, and payments. You will be a key member of a supportive team that thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment! Main responsibilities include:
- Process all suppliers’ invoices in a timely manner
- Obtain proper management approval and coding for each supplier invoice
- Process due invoices for payment, observing discounts available
- Preparation of payment to suppliers
- Balance A/P sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Clear cashed cheques daily
- Calculate and record monthly accruals and monitor and reduce prepaids
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Formal Accounting education or relevant experience
- 2-5 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Ability to process a high volume of invoices
- Strong communication skills
- Good Excel skills
Assets (nice to have):
- SAP or Concur experience
- Manufacturing experience
How You Will Be Rewarded:
- $65,000 per year
