As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for finance, human resources, information technology, and administrative functions. Perhaps most importantly, you will lead the corporate strategy and planning process while working closely alongside the President to drive growth and profitability. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment and will have a proven track record in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, capital management and compliance.   • Accounting and financial reporting
  • Risk management and compliance

  • Cost management and inventory control
  • Human resources management
  • Information technology oversight

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration
  • Completed CPA designation strongly preferred
  • 10+ years’ progressive finance and operations experience, including managing cross-border functions
  • Demonstrated ability to scale systems and processes in a growing business
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Good understanding of Canadian and U.S tax codes, regulatory requirements and HR practices
  • Previous experience in the beverage, food or consumer goods industry considered and asset

What’s the Bottom Line:

  • $150,000 – $200,000 annual salary range
