Job #4948 – We are recruiting an experienced Controller on behalf of our client, a technology services organization that delivers integrated security, communications, and network solutions to commercial and institutional customers. The ideal candidate is both a down-to-earth and strategic finance professional who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities across different business units and have a proven ability to strengthen accounting processes, implement effective controls, and meet tight deadlines. They have a proven track record of delivering value-added financial support to dynamic senior leadership teams. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be required to:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate financial records across all business units
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements and analyze company performance
- Monitor revenue, project costs, and overall profitability
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and audits
- Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Work closely with leadership and other departments to support business decisions

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required; CPA strongly preferred
- 7 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, revenue recognition, and consolidated financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems, ideally Sage 300
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
