Job #4763– Incredible opportunity for an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join a well-respected NFP organization on a full-time basis! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the selected incumbent will be tasked with leading accounting activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all umbrellas of the organization. Supervising a team of finance professionals, the ideal candidate is an adaptable and collaborative leader with strong supervisory skills and the ability to vocalize recommendations in a tactful manner. Main responsibilities include:
- Supervise and mentor a small team of finance specialists and analysts
- Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
- Responsible for all quarterly reports and annual audited financial statements
- Prepare and post general ledger entries
- Review account reconciliations and provide analysis of balance sheet accounts and adjustments
- Perform year-end account reconciliations and variance explanations
- Identify any financial issues and provide recommendations
- Monitor cash flow and oversee banking activities
- Plan and implement special or complex projects as needed

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation is mandatory
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting & analysis
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
Assets:
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Previous experience in health care or hospital industry
Compensation:
- $120,000 – $124,000 annual salary
