With a focus on acquiring, developing, and managing income-producing properties using a strategic and integrity-driven approach, this individual will provide leadership across a group of entities, oversee a small accounting team, and drive overall financial strategy and performance. Reporting to the VP, Finance, the ideal candidate is a hands-on and proactive leader who takes initiative and operates with confidence and independence. They bring a continuous improvement mindset, remain calm under pressure, and always demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Main responsibilities include:
- Lead the accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and oversee all financial performance
- Ensure the company complies with accounting standards and all reporting requirements for lenders, partners, and tax authorities
- Support new developments and acquisitions with a proper financial setup and oversight
- Manage banking, audits, external advisors, and investor relationships

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Completed CPA designation and post-secondary education in finance and/or accounting
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervising and mentoring a team
- Comprehensive knowledge of ASPE
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in real estate, property management or high-tech sector considered a strong asset
- Experience in a multi-company environment or experience with MS Business Central is considered an asset
Compensation:
- $120,000 – $140,000 annual salary range
