In this role, you will act as a key strategic business partner to senior leadership while providing hands-on support and running the full accounting function for a newly acquired business unit. Main responsibilities:
- Own the QSR forecasting process and ensure forecast accuracy
- Provide financial and management reporting and analysis
- Work closely with all functional leads to ensure project bids and contract terms
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc submissions
- Implement process and system improvements to allow for timely and accurate financial statement close
- Oversee financial operations including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, treasury, financial statement close and related controls
- Lead and develop the Finance team
- Drive succession planning and talent management
- Review and validate BU submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Perform quality assurance and provide insightful commentary and analysis

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation required
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience
- Solid technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with acquisition accounting and integration activities is beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills
Assets:
- Experience in Public Accounting, SaaS, or Telecommunications industry
- Experience with multiple entities, countries, or currencies
- Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce
Compensation:
- $150,000 – $175,000 salary range
- Generous bonus potential
