Job #4804 – Our client, a successful non-profit organization, is looking for a new Director of Finance & Corporate Services. This role will take full ownership of the finances as well as IT. The successful candidate will have at least a decade of progressive accounting experience, including strong people management skills and previous non-profit experience, including government funding. Reporting to the VP, the main responsibilities include:
- Oversee finances of the organization
- Oversee data / IT operations
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Review and approve payroll processing and tax documentation
- Prepare budget forecasts and complete budget vs actuals analysis
- Lead financial audits and manage financial reporting
- Review grant application budgets and proposed partner funding
- Mentor and support junior staff
- Special projects as needed

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce / accounting
- CPA Designation is required
- At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including in the NFP sector in a management level position
- Excellent people management skills
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
- $130,000 – $145,000 annual salary range
