Job #5053 – We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Finance Business Partner for our client, who operates in the cybersecurity sector, delivering initiatives that support secure and reliable digital services across Canada and internationally. The Finance Business Partner acts as a key link between finance and operations, translating financial data into clear insights that support decision-making. The role combines strong financial discipline with an understanding of how financial outcomes drive business performance. Working closely with senior leaders, this individual supports budgeting, forecasting, planning, and performance management. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a changing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong analytical capability and the confidence to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders. They are a strong communicator and relationship builder, able to collaborate effectively across teams while working independently when required. Adaptable and confident in their approach, they are comfortable challenging assumptions and contributing to informed decision-making in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across business units
- Support development of multi-year financial plans aligned to strategy
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing key insights and variance analysis
- Develop KPIs and financial models to support decision-making and accountability
- Support investment evaluation, cost optimization, and scenario analysis
- Improve financial planning processes, tools, and data quality
- Partner with cross-functional teams (including Procurement, Legal, and Operations)
- Support month-end closing and core finance operations
- Promote financial discipline and improve financial understanding across the business

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA designation is considered an asset
- 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance or business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with financial planning systems and tools
Compensation:
- $85,000 – $100,000 annual salary range
- Benefits covered by employer, from day 1
- 3 weeks’ vacation
- Hybrid work environment
- RRSP at 5%, from day 1
