Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to strategic planning and decision-making as part of the management team
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting
- Preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliation for the month-end close
- Analyzing financial results, explaining variances, and recommending improvements
- Serving as subject matter expert for financial systems, providing user support and guidance
- Staying current with accounting standards and training or advising management and peers
- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting designation CPA
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and reporting
- Experience in JD Edwards or Salesforce is considered an asset
- Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset
Compensation:
- $85,000 – $95,000 annual salary range
- Annual salary increase of 3%-5%
