Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The role involves collaborating across departments to support accruals and variance analysis, partnering with budget holders to deliver meaningful insights, and leveraging innovative tools to enhance reporting and data visualization. The ideal candidate is polished, communicative, hardworking, and eager to learn, with strong initiative and the ability to thrive in a high-performing team. Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Finance reporting, treasury and sales team to support accurate forecasting, variance analysis and integrated planning
  • Partner with budget holders to improve reporting, accountability and strategic decision making
  • Administer and optimize financial planning tools, including template design, automation and user support
  • Develop and publish dashboards, reports and KPIs for senior leadership, leveraging advanced analytics and visualization tools
  • Provide training, support, and self-serve reporting solutions for international stakeholders
  • Lead financial planning cycles, including the annual operation and planning, and quality forecast, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Support ad hoc projects and benchmarking to drive profitability, performance optimization and strategic planning

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

  • Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
  • CPA designation complete or in progress is required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in financial reporting, audit or corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Excel

How You Will Be Rewarded:

  • $75,000 – $85,000 annual salary
