Job #4717 – Our west-end client is experiencing impressive growth and is now looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to manage all aspects of their project accounting, financial monitoring, budgeting and forecasting activities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be closely involved in decision-making for the organization and will be looked at as a valuable member of the management team. The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity will be a dynamic leader with excellent communication and presentation skills and proven experience managing a large team in a fast-paced work environment. Main responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of projecting accounting and revenue recognition
- Overseeing the administration functions, ensuring operational efficiency and the delivery of excellent customer service
- Ongoing analyses of variance between actual and budgeted results, followed by clear communication with the leadership team, and recommendations for improvements
- Providing leadership, coaching and direction to a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
- Working closely with the financial reporting team to complete timely and accurate financial statements monthly and quarterly, and participating in the annual audit process

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Completed professional accounting designation (CPA/CA)
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive work experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in business analytics and metrics development
- The ability to communicate in a professional and polished manner throughout all levels of the organization
- Bilingualism (French / English) considered an asset
